Network and Voice Administrator

Leidos Digital Modernization Sector has an opening for a Network and Voice Administrator in support of the AFOSR contract located at Arlington, VA.

The candidate will work onsite with a team of Network Administrators and System Administrators in a collaborative effort in implement, maintain, monitor and troubleshoots systems in accordance with organizational and/or DoD network policies, procedures, and standards. The candidate will be required to report progress to site lead and stakeholders via Remedy ticketing system and/or Weekly reports.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Independently Deploy, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot telecommunications equipment and network to include but not limited to: Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Unity voicemail, Voice Gateways, Cisco router/switch, Cisco ISE and Cisco Telepresence via indepth knowledge of the technology.

• Deploy, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot RSA Authentication manager, develop solutions as needed.

• Resolve / Solve Tier I and II hardware, software and application issues (printer, basic network (LAN), scheduling & troubleshooting video tele-conferences (VTCs).

• Troubleshoot problems using scripts and standard, routine procedures; escalates as appropriate.

• Maintain required security posture on all network equipment in accordance with DoD and local command mandates and requirements, including updates, STIGs, IOS upgrades, and other basic network security requirements.

• Provide Tier 2 support for Windows infrastructure.

• Provide Tier 2 support for VMware infrastructure.

• Provide Tier 1 Support for Tier & Tier 2 support for Mac infrastructure.

• Support special projects and day‐to‐day operations as needed or assigned by the site lead.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of related experience or a Masters and 2+ years of experiene, additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• U.S. citizenship with a current DoD Active Top Secret / SCI clearance.

• Active 8570 IAT II (or higher) Baseline Certification, such as: Security+ ce, CySA+

• Experience working in a DOD environment.

• Understanding Cisco networking technologies and configuration; be able to document the network (such as with Visio).

• Working knowledge of Active Directory Users & Computers, security groups and NTFS permissions, Cisco network/LAN principles, MS Windows 10, MS Office, desktop & laptop hardware, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active Computing Environment certification, such as: Cisco CCNA Certification (Routing and Switching), CCNA Collaboration etc.

• Knowledge in Microsoft and OSX business applications.

• Experience with JAMF Pro or Apple enterprise device management tools.

• Experience with Virtualization technologies, including VMWare ESX, and VMWare Server.
